Ahmedabad: The cyclonic storm 'Vayu', which became the second name of panic in the country, could have caused huge devastation in Gujarat, but due to the change of path, now it is going to effect only in coastal areas of Saurashtra. This effect of hurricane is also dangerous. Somnath Temple, the center of the faith of Hindus all over the world, has come under the grip of this storm. Because of the storm, the waves of the sea are blowing up to the height of 155 feet high temple. Because of this, the temple gate too has been destroyed.

The cyclonic storm on the Somnath temple has been affected. Here the waves of the ocean are rising very high. Due to the storm, the entrance door inside the temple has also been broken. Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasama has informed that in view of the magnitude of cyclone hurricane, an alert was issued here, but the temple was still open.
