Washington D.C. [United States], Jan. 15 (NT): United States President Donald Trump said on Sunday that Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), a scheme that looks after certain illegal immigrants from being extradited, is "probably dead" as the Democrats do not wish for it.

President Trump on his twitter handle shred his views on this scheme

"DACA is probably dead because the Democrats don't really want it, they just want to talk and take desperately needed money away from our Military," as Trump message read on Twitter.

This tweet appears as the Trump-led- white house - the administration has started again accepting DACA renewal appeals as a result of a federal court order.

Earlier president Trump had called the nation's court system "unfair" ahead of a federal judge in San Francisco for the interim blocked his administration from outlawing the DACA scheme.

The most recent verdict comes at a time when Trump is advocating in opposition to the illegal migrants living in the U.S. and is lobbying to construct a border, along the US-Mexico border to bring to an end its infiltration.

Trump had declared in September that he would revoke the programme, which consents to certain immigrants who landed in the U.S. illegitimately as children, to reside and work without apprehension of being deported. (NT)
