The exiled spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama is turning 83 today. From all over the world people paying honor and tribute to such a great personality. Not only in the regions of Tibet but his thoughts are prevailing around the world. The 14th Dalai Lama is a 1989 Nobel Peace Prize winner and religiously named as Tenzin Gyatso. The great monk was once stated as one of the “Children of Mahatma Gandhi” by Time Magazine.
On one hand The Dalai Lama is currently in Ladakh and celebrating his birthday with his followers by cutting the cake and on the other hand, Chinese government have clamped down on social media and deployed police forces on his birthplace and around places in order to discourage the celebration of his birthday.
Amidst all this have a look at the wishes of famous dignitaries who are sending their wishes to him by one or other mean. The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have appreciated his holiness and humanity and wrote: “Warm birthday greetings to statesman and spiritual leader, His Holiness @DalaiLama. Admire your dedication to the service of humanity and promoting a universal religion of human kindness. Keep spreading happiness always! “Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.”

The Minister of State for Home Affairs, India shares the spiritual leader’s one of the famous quote with the words: “ Happy 83rd Birthday to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. I wish your holiness good health & deepest gratitude to your contribution toward world peace and giving teachings for entire human races.”
