Dalai Lama exchanged views on global issues with Obama

New Delhi [India], December 2 (NT): Expelled Tibetan spiritual guru Dalai Lama met former United States President Barack Obama in New Delhi and tagged their meeting "a reunion of old, trusted friends".

Presently after meeting the most liked former US President, Dalai Lama reached to Dharamshala.

Addressing to media briefing, Dalai Lama said, "It's a reunion of two old, I think trusted friends. Since my physical condition won't allow me to fly to America so I felt, I should meet him now and pay my tribute."

Dalai Lama stated that throughout the interaction with Obama he drew the attention on the need to encourage the sense of oneness among the communities.

"I mentioned to him that in time has come for us to encourage the sense of oneness among seven billion human beings. It is sad to see there is so much difference among people," Dalai Lama emphasized.

 This was the first meeting after Obama dimities from white house office in January. In this meeting, two Nobel Peace prize creams of the cops exchanged their views on global issues.

 Now Obama is on a World trip, in recent times to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

 

On Friday, the former US president gave his address to a jamboree of young leaders from diverse parts of the nation in New Delhi.
