In the recent match against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) Steyn  was not a part of the team but RCB still managed to pick up a win, thanks to AB de Villiers and Marcus Stoinis - who helped the team put a 200-plus total on board. Now it has been understood that the pacer  wouldn't be a part of the remainder of the RCB games this season.
