Karimnagar : SC Development Secretary Rahul Bojja described the Dalit bandhu as an excellent scheme, he was speaking in the district collectorate while reviewing the Dalit bandhu. CS Somesh Kumar of Telangana was also present on the occasion. He said that Rs 10 lakh would be given to the beneficiaries under the scheme. And any job that is free will give money in that field. The Dalit bandhu made it clear that the state would be implemented holistically and there was no need for any doubt.
On 16th of this month, the CM said that checks would be handed over to 15 beneficiaries in the House. So far no one has selected the beneficiaries. He said there was no need to doubt that everyone would run away, that they would be late, and that we would not come. Rahul Bojja said that Dalit bandhu are being taken under a pilot project in Huzurabad. A comprehensive family survey revealed that they had a list of Dalits and would register even those who did not have the details.
There will be four coordinators from each village and the beneficiaries will be identified by the gram sabha in front of everyone. He said the scheme would be grounded after talking to each family and discussing what scheme to take and grounding the scheme, adding that the authorities would monitor the scheme for a period of one to two years. He said there would also be a Dalit protection fund.
