Bigg Boss fame Shalin Bhanot's ex-wife Dalljiet Kaur is all set to marry for the second time. The wedding is set to take place on March 18, but not much details are revealed yet but the actress has shared photos from her pre-wedding festivities. Photos from her Mehendi and Haldi ceremonies are doing the rounds on the internet.
The colourful pictures show Dalljiet and her fiance Nikhil Patel glowing in yellow outfits with turmeric paste on their faces. Their kids have also joined the celebrations. She also shared the photos on her Instagram handle and wrote, "To new beginnings, one step at a time".
Dalljiet met Nikhil at a party in Dubai and the duo got engaged in January in Nepal. About her son's bond with Nikhil, she recently told in an interview, “Jaydon is quite mature for his age. I have dated before, and he would ask me if I was considering the guy for marriage. He has always yearned for a father, but I needed to be sure that I got him a good dad and myself a good husband because it’s a matter of our lives. However, when he met Nik (Nikhil Patel) for the first time a couple of months ago, he addressed him as papa on his own.”
Dalljiet has formed few close bonds in the industry and it is quite evident as her co-stars from her previous shows like 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon', 'Qayamat Ki Raat' and 'Kulvadhu' are all part of her functions. In one of the pictures, Barun Sobti and Sunayana Fozdar were seen enjoying being part of the haldi ceremony.
Fans and friends have showered their immense love on the bride-to-be. Celebs such as Devoleena Bhattacharjee dropped heart emoticons, Anirudh Dave wrote, "Stay blessed @kaurdalljiet," Sunayana Fozdar commented, "Gorgeous bride," Aditi Shirwaikar Malik wrote, "Congratulations so happy for you .. Lots of blessings & love," Delnaaz Irani commented, "stay blessed always" and many others dropped heartfelt comments on Dalljiet's post.
The actress will be getting married to UK-based Nikhil Patel. Nikhil's has two daughters from his previous marriage and Dalljiet has one son. After being in a relationship for about a year. The actress was earlier married to Shalin Bhanot. They got married in 2009 and were embroiled in an ugly divorce battle, which came through in 2013.
