Rescue operations were launched at Vanakbara Beach, 175 km from Porbandar, in the same cold weather and darkness. The statement said that despite dense darkness and difficulties in the sea, skilled pilots completed the rescue operation within an hour of the aircraft launch from Porbandar and seven fishermen were rescued safely.
