Damoh: The case of Ganga Jamuna School in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh is constantly increasing. In this case, some kind of revelation is happening every day. Members of MP SCPR had conducted the inspection. They have also found a secret route from the school to the mosque, which makes it appear that the students of Ganga Jamuna School are forced to read Islamic prayers.
Education related to Islam is being provided to the students from class KG 1 itself. National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) chairperson Priyank Kanoongo said this in a letter to Damoh collector and superintendent of police. The seven-point letter makes several revelations, the most important of which is that there is a secret route from the school to the mosque. Students appear to be forced to read Islamic prayers. Students are being taught the wrong geographical map of India, in which half of India has disappeared by tampering with the map. At the same time, the logo of the school and all its other businessmen has been used. This is in violation of the National Map Policy 2005 and the detailed guidelines issued by the Survey of India in 2016.
As per records, the medium of instruction has to be in English language and Hindi has to be used as a second language. Urdu can be used as a third language in school, but due to inspection, members of the Madhya Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights found that they were used as a compulsory primary language. Despite the fact that the dialect is not even the mother tongue of the students, but urdu language is being taught through many types of literature. Madhya Pradesh Commission for Protection of Child Rights member Megha Pawar also revealed that subjects related to religion were being taught to Hindi children in the syllabus of KG One of Ganga Jamuna School. KG's children were being told things related to Islam. Hindu children were being pressured to remember it. Apart from this, she has also directed the Collector and Superintendent of Police to take action on other points and to cancel the recognition of the school and register an FIR.
