Movie Dangal was a glimpse of the lives of Phogat sisters, Geeta and Babita, and their journey of becoming national heroes. Indian wrestling’s most famous sisters are true inspirations. Recently, Geeta was seen in reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, fighting with her fears. Now walking on her sister’s path, Babita has also signed a show. Wrestling champion Babita Phogat will soon be seen on &TV's popular show Badho Bahu. Babita will be seen wrestling with Badho aka Ryatasha Rathore on the show.

Rytasha shared her stress, "I am stressing out as Badho but looking forward to share the screen space with sportsperson of such repute and calibre," said Rytasha.

Talking about her debut TV show, Babita says, "I am excited about appearing on Badho Bahu. I liked the concept of a father-in-law encouraging his bahu's talent. It's progressive. Personally, I wouldn't want to give up on wrestling. I strongly believe that a girl shouldn't feel any less than a man, and should strive to create a mark for herself."

Producer Dipti Kalwani shared her views about the lady’s presence in her show, “I am over the moon and I can’t wait to see Babita and Badho in the same akhada. It’s a dream come true when your inspiration stands in flesh and blood with your character. Babita inspired me to write the show and it’s the proudest moment for me. I will cherish it all my life. I would really like to thank Babita and the &TV team for making my dream a reality.”

“It’s impossible for a newcomer to beat a champion but trust me, we have some really exciting time ahead.” Interestingly, the makers wanted to feature both Geeta and Babita, however, Geeta was unavailable owing to prior commitments.
