Researchers have told that the Android camera application usually stores images and videos on the SD card. In this case, apps need permission to access them. The problem with this is that the storage permissions are very wide and because of this the apps get access to the entire SD card. The research firm shared its report with Google in July this year. In this regard, Google thanked the research firm for finding this bug. Currently, Google and the Checkmarks research team, along with Android Partners, are trying to fix this bug.
