Jeremy Solojano, who made his debut in the first Test between West Indies and Sri Lanka, suffered a serious injury due to the match. The injury was so dangerous that he was taken off the field on a stretcher, then rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Solojano, 26, is playing his first match. The player, who was fielding at  short leg, hit the grill of his helmet after which he fell there and was immediately taken out of the field by the medical staff.

The same West Indies Cricket Board has tweeted about The Germi. He said the injury has been scanned, the report will reveal his seriousness. May all of you pray for his speedy recovery. The case took place in the 24th over. The shot-scorers were Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne. When Solojano was hurt, he immediately appeared to go and ask for his movements and also gestured to call the medical staff. Now the video of the entire case is going viral on social media.

The same West Indies have arrived in Sri Lanka to play a two-match Test series. The first match is being played at Galle. The performance of both the teams in the T20 World Cup 2021 was nothing special. Sri Lanka are commanded by veteran Dimuth Karunaratne. Craig Brathwaite is leading the West Indies team.
