Dhanbad: A major accident took place in Dhanbad, Jharkhand due to coal mining. On Tuesday, around 13 persons lost their lives after a driver fell from a height of 20 feet in the E.C.L. Mugma area of Nirsa block, while more than a dozen people are feared to be buried in it. Relief and rescue operations are underway at the spot.

Some of the persons were pulled out in the same commotion, while some of the injured are being treated at private nursing homes there. It is being said that as per usual, in huge statistics, children including women, men and many others had come on outsourcing to carry out illegal mining. There was trench cutting on behalf of the ECL management.

It was then that suddenly the driver fell down from above 20 feet, in which more than a dozen people were trapped. After receiving the news of the case, The Nirsa police of Dhanbad reached the spot and took the news of the case. After that, the digging was done with the JCB machine to flush out the coal-trapped persons. As soon as the local people received the news of this case, people gathered near outsourcing in huge statistics. Police and ECL management said that an investigation is being conducted into the incident.
