Name of this prison is Alcatraz Jail, which is located on the island of Alcatraz off the coast of San Francisco, California. The jail was opened in the year 1934, but it was closed in 1963 due to high maintenance costs. Now this prison is being used as a museum, which is visited by millions of people every year. This prison is also known as 'The Rock'. Surrounded by stringent security arrangements and the cold waters of San Francisco Bay on all sides, the prison was considered America's strongest prison from which no prisoner could ever escape. They also say that in this prison, the most dangerous prisoners of America were kept, who could not escape. Although a total of 36 prisoners tried to escape from here in the 29-year history of the prison, 14 of them were caught, while some were killed by police shots and some were drowned in water. The body of five prisoners was not found by the police.

Actually it is said that in June 1962, three prisoners Frank Morris, John Anglin and Clarence Anglin were successful in escaping from this prison. It was claimed in a letter to the police after many years. After this, the police also investigated them, but they could never be found, which proved that they are alive by escaping from the jail. Although the family members of the captive brothers named John Anglin and Clarence Anglin had also claimed that they were alive, but they did not meet. This prison was also considered one of America's most feared prisons. Many prisoners committed suicide here, after which it is being claimed that their souls keep wandering here.
