Daniel Craig, the former James Bond actor, recently talked out about his prospective successor for the role of the British spy after him. Even his predecessor received some guidance from the celebrity! Daniel Craig, 53, spoke on the Straight From The Hart podcast to promote his next Bond film, No Time To Die, and when asked for advice by presenter Kevin Hart, he said: "There's a lot of things I'd say, but I mean, one, don't be mad, I'd say you've got to take it and make it your own." That, I believe, is the way to go."

"I mean, I just devoted myself as much as I could to it and tried to sort of elevating it as much as I could," he continued. I hope I've left it in a favourable spot and that the next person will be able to simply make it fly. It's a fantastic franchise, you know. I still believe there are many more stories to be told. And I think one of the beautiful things about Bond films is that they've always evolved with the times. They've always mirrored politics to some degree, followed by trends, fashion, and music."

Craig was also asked for his opinion on who should play the next James Bond, to which he said, "It's not my issue." I already have enough on my plate without trying to solve that problem. That's a headache in the head. That isn't anything I require. Well, whoever it is, they'll find someone smart, and everything will be OK. And I'll be right in the middle of it. Because I can't wait, I'll be sitting in the front row of a movie theatre with my popcorn and a drink."

At this time, it appears that Daniel's guess on the next Bond is as good as ours! While several individuals have been rumoured to play the famous part in recent months, nothing has been confirmed by the producers. Some of the top names in the running are Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Henry Cavill, Tom Hiddleston, Regé-Jean Page, Richard Madden, and even Dev Patel!
