The one of the outstanding actors of Hollywood and the winner of three Oscars, Daniel Day-Lewis has decided to retire from film industry.

The artist's spokeswoman On Tuesday, the spokesperson of Daniel confirmed the news by stating: "Daniel Day-Lewis will no longer be working as an actor. He is immensely grateful to all of his collaborators and audiences over the many years. This is a private decision and neither he nor his representatives will make any further comment on this subject."

Day-Lewis' last film will be "Phantom Thread" by director Paul Thomas Anderson, about the world of fashion in the 1950s.
