The 'Jojo' actress completely cut off sugar intake from her diet from several years. According to the actress, this has been the best lifestyle choice she ever made.

Talking about her fitness, Darshana said, “I think sweets or refined sugar intake is more harmful than fried foods. I noticed many positive changes in my health with a sugar detox. I have acne-prone and oily skin. But now my skin texture looks much better. My hair fall problems have stopped." Talking about the festive times, Darshana said that when she badly crave for sweets then she takes a small bite. Those people who are suffering from insomnia should completely stop sugar intake after 6 pm. She further said, "I do not add sugar to my regular tea or coffee. I replace it with either organic honey or a piece of jaggery."

Not only Darshana but many other celebs also adopted a sugar detox diet to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Talking about the work front, Darshana will soon to play an important role in a thriller opposite Ankush. The name of this film is ‘Mrigaya’ which is directed by Souvik Bhattacharjee. The cast of this film also includes Subrat Dutta, Bidipta Chakraborty, Biswarup Biswas, Suman Banerjee, Sayan Ghosh and others.
