Dattatreya Hosabale replacing Bhaiyyaji Joshi as RSS general secretary

Ranchi: Dattatreya Bhosale has been selected for the new Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) executive. The new executive was elected on Saturday on the last day of the meeting of the House of Representatives at the Janaseva Vidya Kendra, Channenahalli, Bengaluru. The House of Representatives of the Union unanimously elected Dattatreya for the post of the executive for the next three years. Before that Dattatreya was handling the responsibility of the co-executive.

It may be recalled that every three years in the Union, the election process is followed by the district federator, the department federator, the province federator, the area federator as well as the government. These people then announce their team, which works for the next three years. Some posts are also changed in between as per requirement. The change in the responsibility of field campaigners and province publishers is also in the Meeting of the House of Representatives. The House of Representatives in the Union is the decision-making department.

Earlier Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi the union's executive. However, in the 2018 elections, he had requested to free him from the responsibility of the government, but in view of the growing work of the Union under his leadership, the Union decided to give them this responsibility again.
