Lord Narada goes to the 3 goddesses in turn to break the pride of the 3 goddesses and praises the husbandry religion of Goddess Anusuya. The goddess was filled with jealousy and after Narada's departure, she insisted on Lord Shankar to disturb Anusuya's sattva. First Narada came to Goddess Parvati and started praising the husbandry religion of Goddess Anusuya, wife of Rishi Atri. Goddesses did not like to hear the praise of Sati Anusuya at all. Due to the pride, she started burning. After Lord Narada left, she started talking about dissolving the husbandry religion of Goddess Anusuya. Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh all 3 had to give up in front of their wives and all 3 stood together in front of the hut of Goddess Anusuya disguised as a monk. When the goddess Anusuya giving them alms, they refused to take it and expressed desire to have food.

When Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh did not return home even after a long time, the three goddesses started worrying about their husbands. Goddesses began to regret their mistake. All three of them started apologizing to Goddess Anusuya. All 3 bowed their heads before her husband Dravid. Mata Anusuya said that these three have drunk my milk, so they will have to remain in Bal roop. Hearing this, the three gods combined their portions and created a new fraction. It was named Dattatreya who had three heads and six hands. After getting the 3 deities together in the form of Dattatreya, Goddess Anusuya sprinkled the feet of her husband Rishi Atrion on the three deities and gave them original form.
