Bhopal: A major change has been made in the ambitious Ladli Laxmi Yojana of the Shivraj government in Madhya Pradesh. The girls registered under the scheme will now get an amount of Rs 25,000 in two installments instead of one on going to college. It has been reported that the state government is preparing to make major changes before implementing the second phase of the Ladli Laxmi Scheme. Ladli Lakshmi, who is now in the first phase, will not be paid a lump sum of Rs 25,000 for her scholarship if she is admitted to a government college. Instead, the amount will be put in two installments in the account of the daughters.

For your information, let us know that the Ladli Lakshmi Scheme was started in the year 2007. The daughters of Ladli Lakshmi were scheduled to pay an amount of Rs 25,000 as soon as they enrolled in the college this year. It has been approved by the Shivraj cabinet, but recently the finance department had objected to the payment of Rs 25,000 in a lump sum account. Subsequently, the HighPower Committee headed by Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bais has made significant changes. Now the daughters will be paid in two installments on admission to the college.

If we talk about the same statistics, so far 43 lakh daughters have been registered in the Ladli Lakshmi scheme. In 2024, 1300 girls will go to college. It is estimated that the government will put one installment in their account in the year 2023 itself.
