New Delhi: Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals (DC) have kept their hopes alive to reach the playoffs with an 8-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Wednesday night. Opening batsmen David Warner and Mitchell Marsh have played a key role in Delhi's victory. Both the players played half-centuries and added 144 runs for the second wicket and giving the team a very important victory. David Warner played an unbeaten inning of 52 runs against Rajasthan, during which an incident took place, after which the fans were also surprised to see.

In fact, Yuzvendra Chahal, who came with the 9th over, had trapped David Warner in his trap, on the last ball of the over, this spin bowler beat Warner and the ball went straight to the stumps in between the batsman's bat and pad. After the ball hit the stumps, the bails went up a bit, but after that, it again stopped back to its place instead of falling to the ground. After seeing this scene, Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson along with Yuzvendra Chahal were also surprised, while Warner did not even know that the ball had hit the wicket. Now call Warner's lucky or unlucky to Yuzvendra Chahal?

After this incident, RR reacted through its Twitter handle, while many other Twitter users also gave their reactions to this moment. Talking about the match, RR batted first and set a target of 161 runs in front of the Delhi Capitals. For Rajasthan, Ashwin had scored a half-century, while Padikkal played a knock of 48 runs. Delhi achieved this target with 11 balls to spare. Marsh scored 89 runs while Warner scored an unbeaten 52 runs.
