New Delhi: Hyderabad have once again suffered a setback in the match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at The Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday. With this, Hyderabad have scored a hat-trick of defeats in the 14th season of IPL. Chennai beat them by 7 wickets. Skipper David Warner himself has taken responsibility for the defeat after the match.

After the match, Warner has said, "I take responsibility for my slow innings. However, Manish came back and batted well. Ken and Kedar finally hit big shots. I played about 15 balls in the direction of the fielder. A full toss too. With this, we could not take wickets in the powerplay again today. Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 171 for three, which Chennai achieved by losing three wickets in 18.3 overs.

Warner added, "The Chennai openers got off to a good start and we trailed in the match. Ken will bat at No. 4. This is their role, we have to be positive. The ball has to be played in the gap. We will continue to fight. This is CSK's fifth consecutive win in six matches and has now moved up to the top of the point table again with 10 points. This is Hyderabad's fifth defeat in six matches and the team is at the bottom of the table with two points."
