Indore: The Devi Ahilya University has declared a timetable for the offline examinations for the undergraduate courses amid the growing threat of the novel coronavirus. This time, the papers are being done in three sessions for half a dozen courses including BA, BCom, and BSc. The second-year examination will start on April 6 and the final year examination from April 1.
The timetable for the first year is also expected to be released soon. According to the university administration, about 1.75 lakh students will give the exam being held after a gap of one year. This time examinations will be held in about 100 centres as against 80 last time. It is mandatory to sanitize the entire campus .
The first, second and final year exams of UG courses are to be conducted from April 1 to May 15. As the number of corona infected patients has started increasing since March, It is said that the university has made all the necessary preparations for the Open Book Examination as well. Deans have been asked to prepare all the subject papers.
Officials say the exam will not be carried forward because of the infection. Will get the exam done between the due date. For this, 'B "plan has been prepared. After getting instructions from the government, the examination will be decided. Similarly, under plan' B", colleges will also be given the responsibility to evaluate by submitting copies under open book.
