Jewelers openly murdered in UP, crooks fled with lakhs of cash

Meerut: Criminals shot and killed a bullion merchant in broad daylight in Jagriti Vihar Sector-2 of the Medical Police Station area of Meerut city of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is being told that the bullion merchant was shot in protest against the loot. On receiving this information, the police force of many police stations including SSP and SP City reached the occasion. Police has started the investigation of the case based on the CCTV footage.

In the same medical station area, Satish Kumar has a shop in the residence of Bhagmal Sonar in Jagriti Vihar Sector-2. Satish Kumar's son Aman also sits at the shop. At around 12:30 pm on Tuesday afternoon, four criminals riding on the bike reached Saraf's shop, and started robbing in the shop. On protesting, the criminals shot Aman. After being shot, the culprits escaped from the spot.

It was reported that two criminals were wearing helmets, and two criminals wore handkerchiefs on their mouths. Criminals looted 10 lakh cash and five kilos of silver from Saraf's shop. Police along with the people and family of that place got Aman admitted to Anand Hospital, where the doctor declared Aman dead. SP city doctor Akhilesh Narayan Singh says that the police is currently investigating the case. Also, the investigation of the case is going on continuously, and inquiries are also being done in the surrounding areas.
