New Delhi: After the ban on the first Chhath celebrations in the country's capital Delhi, permission has now been granted for its public event. The decision was taken by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) in a meeting held on Wednesday. Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia announced this and called for strict adherence to corona protocol at the event.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, deputy CM Manish Sisodia said the corona situation in Delhi is under control but needs to be careful. The festival season was associated with the chhath festival. In the DDMA meeting, it has been decided that chhath will be allowed to be celebrated in Delhi, but following a strict protocol. It will be accompanied by the program only at pre-determined locations. As well as people must follow the mask condition etc. Tell us that chhath puja begins six days after Diwali. This time Chhath Puja will start from November 8. This puja lasts for 4 days.

This year also, firecrackers have been banned in Delhi in view of pollution. CM Kejriwal had issued the order saying that in view of Delhi's alarming pollution situation during Diwali for the last three years, there is a complete ban on storage, sale and use of all types of firecrackers like last year.
