President Donald Trump has a great fan following indeed but not just fans, he also has a big crowd to criticise him. Yet, there’s this one fact most of the people would agree to, “ no one hates Trump more than “Robert De Niro”.
At the 72nd annual Tony Awards, Robert De Niro reached the stage when he was invited to introduce Bruce Springsteen for his performance in “My Hometown”. Before he started the part he was called for, the 74 years old actor shouted on the stage, “I’m just going to say one thing. F**k Trump!” Whoa!
His statement was responded by a big round of applause, from the audience which translated into a standing ovation.
The Oscar winner actor added, “It’s no longer ‘down with Trump.’ It’s ‘f**k Trump!'”
This is not the first time that when De Niro has revolted against Trump.
At the National Board of Review awards in January, when introducing Meryl Streep, De Niro made expressed his disappointment and disapproval for the 45th president of the USA, “Donald Trump”.
