In forest area of Hassan, a man is found dead. His dead body is found under suspicious circumstances.on Monday in the forest area of Arkalgudu Taluk of Hassan police found the body and they identified the victim as-as Chikkegowda (57), a resident of Yagathi village in Arkalgudu.

He was a retired driver attached to the irrigation department. Senior police officials visited the spot following which a case was registered.

In another case, the body of 38-year-old Dinesh was found in a farm pond at Marasu village in Alur taluk of the district. The deceased was a resident of Gekaravalli in Alur. It is suspected that Dinesh might have been murdered and his body dumped at the farm pond. A case has been registered at Alur police station.

Police registered both the cases but till now no suspect is arrested. Police started the investigation in both the cases and soon there will be the arrest of the accused. Police said that they have already started the investigation. 2 cases at the same time in the same district indicate towards any conspiracy. Police are also trying to find out if there is any connection between the two cases. Soon the culprits will be behind the bars, said police officials.
