Srinagar: The killings of non-Kashmiri people in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir have not stopped yet. Now the body of a non-local citizen has been recovered under mysterious circumstances in the Bilal Colony area of Jangalmand crematorium in Anantnag. Officials said police have taken possession of the body. The body found has a head wound, but police are denying the possibility of being shot at an early stage.

According to a senior police officer, the deceased has some head wounds but is unlikely to be shot. According to some locals, the man roamed the area and was ill. Further investigation is being conducted in the matter. The person used to live by begging. No angle of the terrorism-related incident has been revealed. A case has been registered and an investigation has been initiated. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday said cross border efforts are being made to disrupt the peace and development process in the Union Territory.

He further said that the government will not rest till terrorism is completely eliminated. Sinha further said that the administration is committed to preserving the communal fabric and social harmony of Jammu and Kashmir. He said, "Efforts are being made by the neighbouring country to disrupt the process of peace and development in the Valley. Our brave security forces will put an end to every terrorist threat.''
