According to the news received, this incident took place in Sahurgachi Vidyanandpur Primary School located in Malda, West Bengal. Mid-day meals were being prepared for children here. At the same time, rats and lizards were seen in the mid-day meal. When people in the vicinity got the news about this, they reached the school. The people of the village created a ruckus over this matter. Head Master Ujjwal Saha was questioned about the case and expressed displeasure.

Regarding this incident, Malda Collector Nitin Singhania said that the case of a dead lizard and rat being found in the mid-day meal has come to our notice. Strict action is being taken against those responsible for this. Let us tell you that there was an uproar in the schools of Bengal in the past when a snake was found in the mid-day meal. Around 20 students fell ill after consuming the same food. This incident is of the Mayureshwar area of ​​Birbhum.
