Mohammed Umar Mukri passed away on this day. In his career, Mohammed Umar Mukri worked in many tremendous films that you must have seen. Mohammed Umar Mukri and Dilip Kumar Sahab studied in the same school in Mumbai. After studying, Mohammed Umar Mukri started his career as an assistant director in Bombay Talkies and after that, he went ahead. In his 50-year film career, Mohammed Umar Mukri worked in nearly 600 films and his comic timing has no competitor.

Because of this, he became famous and got the most love. Apart from Dilip Sahab, Mohammed Umar Mukri had a deep friendship with Nimmi and her husband Ali Raza, Mehmood Sahab, Sunil Dutt and Nargis. It is said that Nargis Dutt considered Mohammed Umar Mukri as her brother and she was involved in every happiness and sorrow of his family till the last breath. It is said that Amitabh Bachchan learned the tricks of making people laugh from Mukri and Mukri did not know English. However, he spoke English words with great confidence.

Very few people know that before coming to films, Mukri was Qazi, whose job was to teach the Quran to children in madrasas. However, it reduced income and to run the family, Mukri had to work in Devika Rani's film studio Bombay Talkies, although this started his career. On September 4, 2000, Mukri left this world, although his name is still discussed in the world today.
