Prashant Patel has lodged a complaint with the Ecotech-3 police station in Noida. "On June 2, at 12.57 pm, i received a call from 9477298804 number on my mobile. The caller abused me and said that I speak wrong against his prophet in the TV debate. Gyanvapi has not a Shivlinga but a fountain. When I asked for his name, he threatened to take out my address, instead of telling me anything. With this, he said, 'You go out, I will slit your throat within a month.' We are ready to die and to kill, but you will no longer survive.''
The Supreme Court counsel further said in the complaint, "The threatener also abused me. I am in public life and I keep coming and going out. There have been murders with such threats in the past. The one who threatened me should be arrested and legal action should be taken. The police have confirmed that an FIR has been registered along with providing security to Prashant Patel and other necessary action has been taken.
