With the death of 5 more people on Monday from covid-19 in Punjab, the number of people who died from this epidemic in the state has reached 204. 2 in Amritsar and 3 in Jalandhar and more patients lost their lives. On the other hand, 357 new corona infected have also been found in the state in one day. The number of infected in the state reached 8178. But during this time 194 patients were allowed to go home after recovering. The number of patients who beat covid-19 in the state has now increased to 5586.

According to the Health Department, 2388 patients are currently admitted in isolation wards in various hospitals of the state. Out of these 69 diseases are in critical condition. In the case of finding new patients of covid-19, Ludhiana remained in the worst condition on Monday, where 126 infected were found. After which Patiala has reached the second place with 60 patients. These include 7 people from other states. In Jalandhar, 55 positive diseases were confirmed on Monday, of which 34 are near the already afflicted person. According to Health Department data, samples of 400944 suspected patients have been taken so far in the state.

Three new cases of covid-19 have come out in Fazilka. 2 of which travel history is related to Tripura and Bihar. Health Department sent 3 people to covid-19 Care Center Jalalabad and started searching for the people who came in contact. District Civil Surgeon Chandramohan Kataria said that the Khoikheda resident of Corona has come from Tripura, about 43 years old. But no travel history of 23-year-old resident of Mahuana has been received.
