Srilanka: 64 people died, 131 missing, and over 319,000 displaced from homes due to floods and landslides caused by torrential rains.

According to Disaster Management Centre, "it is coordinating response activities and rescue operations with the tri forces and police through District Secretariats and District Disaster Management Coordinating units".

Around 3,463 houses were partially damaged by flood and around 440 houses were fully damaged.

By the requests for assistance, the Army has supplied cooked meal packets to the people affected by the flooding of Kelani river in addition to its rescue and recovery operations in landslide areas and evaculations of elderly people.
