TV's well-known serial 'Ramayan' starring actor Gurmeet Chaudhary and Debina Banerjee is being re-broadcasted on Dangal channel these days. TV's known serial Ram and Sita i.e. Gurmeet and Debina went ahead and became husband and wife in real life too. In a conversation with a media reporter, Debina shared experiences related to 'Ramayana'. Debina says, "'Ramayana' was shot at Sagar Film City in Vadodara. Then we used to go from set to hotel and from hotel to set. Most of our time was spent on the set. We were totally unaware of the outside world."

She added, "I remember, 'Ramayana' was almost over, then we had to go to many cities to promote it. A year and a half later, when it first came to the public, it felt as if we were locked somewhere. " The actress shared an experience, saying, "I don't remember the name of the city, but we went to a devotee's house. It was an educated and wealthy family. His house had pictures of Lord Ram and Sita along with pictures of God. We kept staring at that picture. After some time a crowd gathered there. Everyone talked to us. During this period, one by one all the people, old and young, started touching our feet. "

Debina further said," When an elderly woman moved forward to touch my feet, I felt very strange. But then thought that there is a sense of reverence in her mind. I felt that if I say something at such a time, they will be shocked and their faith will be broken. That's why I kept quiet and let them touch my feet."
