Not only have they made their mark in every field, but have also excelled in creating a pathway of their own. With a leap of faith, Sanjana Parmar took a life-changing decision by doing the unimaginable. The digital marketer turned producer and is now soaring high with her debut web series ‘Suraj Aur Saanjh’. This much-talked series is already creating wonders over the digital domain for its entertaining and light-hearted content. The five-episode web series saw Sanjana getting into production with her maiden production venture House of Joy Productions.
While the series’ concept is all about two contrasting personalities building great camaraderie in lockdown followed by a series of events, Sanjana considers relatability a major factor of this series. Being a cinephile since childhood, Sanjana Parmar considers her new venture as a dream come true. The series was shot after the lockdown got lifted last year, and it got wrapped in a time of 12 days. Like everyone, the phase of lockdown made Sanjana directionless. However, she feels glad that this project turned the tables for good. “The people and the crew of the series who were once strangers are now a family. We have bonded well on sets, and feel proud of bringing this series to the audience”, says Sanjana.
When asked about how difficult it was for her to get into the shoes of a producer, she said, “More than difficulty, I would call it responsibility. A challenging role with loads of learnings and lessons throughout the journey. Being a producer, I stepped out of my comfort zone and understood different aspects of creating content.” Having gained great confidence with the debut series, Sanjana Parmar is looking forward to various other projects.
Furthermore, she was all praises for the cast and the entire crew of ‘Suraj Aur Saanjh’. According to the producer, this project is a united effort including the hard work of every single person. She further went on to say that as much as the actors have made this series entertaining, it is the crew working behind the camera who have also made it a huge hit. With the terrific response ‘Suraj Aur Saanjh’ has received, the producer expressed her joy and hinted about the second season of the series.
The director of the show Vedd Rawtaani had earlier spilled the beans about the second season. And with the positive reception from the audience, it seems that the makers might come with the second season sooner than expected. Lastly, Sanjana Parmar expressed her gratitude to every individual who made ‘Suraj Aur Saanjh’ a massive success.
