Visakhapatnam: Yoga guru and Patanjali chief Baba Ramdev has made a big demand last Sunday. In fact, he has said in his demand that 'Gomata' should be declared as the national animal of India. In fact, Baba Ramdev addressed the farewell of the two-day 'Go Maha Sammelan' organized by TTD at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh last Sunday. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah should bring a law declaring cows as national animals.''

At the same time, he said Patanjali is always at the forefront of the 'Go Sanrakshan' campaign. In fact, Baba Ramdev believed that "the resolutions of the Go Maha Sammelan would echo among all cow lovers". He said, "Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had briefed him on the TTD Go Maha Sammelan programme. At the same time, he appreciated other TTD programmes for "Hindu religious propaganda" and especially praised the efforts of TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy.

Speaking at the conference, Baba Ramdev called for a law to protect cows and also appealed to the Central Government to declare national animals. He said, "Cow is known as mother in India and is worshipped like a deity. So, the cow should be given the status of a national animal.'
