New Delhi: The fastest covid infection in the world is spreading in India itself. In the last 24 hours, 88,600 new covid cases have been registered and 1,124 people have died in the country. The good news is that 92,043 patients have been healthy in 24 hours. According to the latest health department data, the total covid infected country has now been 59 lakh 90 thousand. Of these, 94,503 people have lost their lives. The number of active cases has come down to 9 lakh 56 thousand and 49 lakh 41 thousand people have been freed. The active case of infection is nearly four times the number of people who have been healthy. According to ICMR, a total of 712.57 crore samples of Covid have been conducted in the country till September 26. Out of these, 9 lakh 87 thousand 861 samples were tested yesterday.

Continued decline in mortality and active case rates: It is a matter of relief that mortality rates and active case rates are showing a steady decline. The mortality rate dropped to 1.58%. In addition, the rate of active cases which are undergoing treatment has also come down to 16%. At the same time, the recovery rate is at 82%. The recovery rate in India is continuously increasing.

Maharashtra has the most active cases in the country. Maharashtra continues to be the worst hit state of covid. So far, 13 lakh cases and 34,000 deaths have been recorded. Followed by Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. These five states have the most active cases. India ranks second in the world in active case cases. India is the second most affected country in the world in terms of the data of covid infected. India is the number after the US and Brazil in the case of death.
