Hyderabad recently witnessed a heartened news about getting a woman's body in a public toilet. The people in the city are horrified with such cases constantly becoming the headlines but as per reports, the overall crime rate has decreased by three percent in Hyderabad city during 2019 with the number of crime cases enrolled during this year decreasing to 15,598 as against 16,084 cases reported in 2018.
Recently, a decomposed body of a woman, aged approx 35 years, was spotted in an unused public toilet near the Secunderabad Railway Station on Tuesday morning. The body was found by the people who lived in nearby areas. The locals informed the Monda Market police. A Vinod Kumar, ACP, Mahankali, confirmed that the cop team with a tracker dog has examined the spot. He also added that the cops are still checking footage from CCTV cameras installed in the area to get more details.
The cops of Monda Market has formed three special teams to identify the woman. Police speculate that women could have been sexually exploited or murdered. However, since the body was in a decayed condition, it was too early to ascertain this. The officials said that the body was moved to the Osmania Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
