Indian archer Deepika Kumari, who has been battling with poverty form for the last few years, has won a gold medal in Archery World Cup. After recovering from her bad condition, Deepika won the gold medal by defeating Germany's Michelle in the third round of the World Cup on Sunday. Deepika defeated Germany's Michelle by 7-3, and after 6 years brought the gold medal in the name of India. Prior to this, Deepika had won the silver medal in the World Cup final four times (2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015), Deepika qualified for the Archery World Cup finals to be held in Samsun, Turkey.

Deepika had won her first title in 2012. This is the last contest of this season in which it is representing the country for the seventh time. Deepika said, "After winning this gold medal, I just want to say said that finally, I was successful." Deepika made 29 points out of the possible 30 points and started the best 2-0. After this, they issue points with Copen. The German player won the third set to equalize the match to 3-3.

After this, Deepika won the fourth and fifth set on 29 and 27. During this time German player had a score of 26. In this way, the Indian player got her name from the 7-3 match. Deepika said, "I was repeating that I should give my best. Enjoy my game and forget about victory or defeat." In another match, Chinese player won the women's recurve bronze medal. However, Deepika was disappointed with the mixed doubles.
