Deepika Padukone Reveals plan’s first Holi after wedding….read inside

Bollywood superstars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in November last year. The couple, who had been together for over six years prior to their two intimate wedding ceremonies at Lake Como in Italy, has never missed an opportunity to be with each other, spend time together and support each other on not just personal front but with professional endeavors too. Despite being occupied with respective work commitments, the couple makes sure to take out time for one another and well, they continue to shell couple goals. 

Here it is to be noted that but for the newly married couple, their first Holi after wedding, comes with a work-related commitment. Deepika, who is prepping for Meghna Gulzar's Raazi alongside Vikrant Massey, revealed to BollywoodLife.com that she is set to leave for Delhi as the team is set to begin shooting on Monday. Sharing that there are no celebrations this time, Deepika has been quoted as saying, “It’s so ironic that on the day of Holi, I leave for Chhapaak, we start shooting on Monday. It is a very important film and the story needs to be told.”

To be noted that She further told the portal, “We start filming on Monday and on Holi is when I leave for Delhi, so no celebration, just a lot of preparation.” Both Deepika and Vikrant have begun the script reading sessions along with Meghna and their team of Chhapaak. She had taken to social media just a few moments back to share a behind-the-scenes moment. Alongside the photo, Deepika wrote, "All things are ready, if our mind be so-William Shakespeare

#Chhapaak." Vikrant, too, shared photos and wrote, "As actors, we live for this moment. Feeling blessed with the team during our #Chhapaak reading session." While Deepika, who was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat alongside Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, is busy with Chhapaak, Ranveer is basking in the success of Gully Boy and has dipped toes in the prep of Kabir Khan's '83. Post that, he will also star in Karan Johar's multi-starrer Takht alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles.
