After shooting a major part of Kabir Khan's directorial film '83 in London, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have now completed shooting the last part of the film in Mumbai along with other actors. The final schedule of the film will finally come to an end today with some patchwork scenes.
Ranveer Singh is playing the role of Captain Kapil Dev in this film based on India's first Cricket World Cup victory, while Deepika will be seen in the role of his reel wife Romi Dev. The Padmavat actress was so excited for the film that she has decided to co-produce the sports film. And now after the shoot is over, she is planning to throw a party for the cast and crew at BKC.
According to close sources, "Deepika wants to celebrate the journey of shooting of the film '83. She has invited all the members from the team to the party with a personally written letter."
The actress wrote in the letter, "Member of team '83, Over the last several months iconic moments have been re-lived and memories have been etched in our hearts forever.
I am beyond proud to be a part of a team that is driven by love, passion, enthusiasm and eternally grateful for your contribution. And for this, I would like to invite you to a celebration!
Lots of Love,
Deepika Padukone "
On this occasion, the producers will also share a glimpse of Ranveer in the iconic 'Natraj Shot' playing at the Turn Bridge Wales ground where Kapil Dev scored 175 in a league match against Zimbabwe in 1983.
The film '83, marked as the country's "biggest sports film", will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on 10 April 2020. It is the first trilingual release of both Ranveer Singh and director Kabir Khan.
