The Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s upcoming film Chappak is making quite a buzz since its inception. The actress plays acid attack survivor in the Meghna Gulzar film that will bring on screen the real story of Laxmi Agarwal. The makers have unveiled the first look of Chhapaak. Deepika's transformation through prosthetic make-up bowled us over and we were not the only ones. Recently, a video of the Deepika and Vikrant shooting a scene for Chhapaak had leaked and surfaced online.

The video is going viral as we speak and most probably is one of the initial scenes from the life of Laxmi.Needless to say, it made a lot of rounds of the internet.
Earlier, Deepika had said, "Meghna walked into the office and took me through the story. In five minutes of speaking with her, I knew in my heart that this is what I wanted to do next. Something about Meghna herself, Laxmi's story and Meghna's conviction in this film... It was very similar to Piku. In just five minutes of meeting the director, I knew that this is the film I wanted to do."

Talking about the film, Vikrant plays the role of a social activist and Laxmi Agarwal's boyfriend Alok Dixit, the one who also found the Stop Acid Attacks campaign. He has been paired opposite Deepika Padukone for the first time.
