Defence minister Rajnath Singh on 3-day visit to Lucknow

LUCKNOW: On Monday, Rajnath Singh, the defence minister, is scheduled to start a three-day visit to Lucknow. Singh, an MP from Lucknow, has a full itinerary planned for his trip, including numerous engagements. 

Rajnath Singh is scheduled to meet local residential committee members as soon as he arrives in the state capital on Monday evening, said Praveen Garg, media coordinator for the BJP in Lucknow.

Singh has a meeting with the Dalit committee members set for Tuesday in Sudarshan Puri, Aishbagh. Singh would then go to Rajajjipuram to meet with the local residential committee. He would go to the Yahiyaganj gurudwara later in the day.

The defence minister is scheduled to go to the Kanhaiya Madhavpur ward in Bhuwar village on Wednesday. He will then check over the ongoing development at the Manaknagar satellite railway station.   Before concluding his journey, he will visit the residence of Jaivir Singh Pal, the ailing ward head of Kesri Kheda.

Thereafter, the defense minister will visit the Manaknagar satellite railway station to review the ongoing construction work.
