Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived on a three-day visit to the Union Territory today i.e. He met ex-servicemen in Leh and said, "There is no need to show how much respect Prime Minister Narendra Modi has towards our army personnel and ex-servicemen. For 30-40 years, there was a problem of One Rank, One Pension. Narendra Modi fulfilled the demand for One Rank, One Pension as soon as he became prime minister.''

At the same time, Rajnath also said, "The problem of rehabilitation persists after service. At the same time, employment fairs are also organized by the Directorate General of Rehabilitation from time to time, in which a large number of ex-servicemen are employed. We are trying to speed up this work. Our aim is to take care of all of you in the same way that all of you have taken care of the security of the country. In spite of this, if you have any problem, a helpline has also been provided for the same.''

Rajnath Singh had tweeted before leaving. In this tweet, he wrote, "Leaving New Delhi for Ladakh. During my visit, I will interact with the soldiers and attend the opening ceremony of several infrastructure projects constructed by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO)." Rajnath Singh will visit Ladakh to take stock of the preparations for the military operations. If you know, two days ago, there has been a fresh round of talks between diplomats from India and China to relieve the tensions that have been going on since May last year.
