New Delhi: After the withdrawal of Section 370 from Kashmir, Pakistan has been resorting to all kinds of nefarious activities to spread unrest in India. Pakistan did not get the expected support from all over the world on Kashmir issue. Meanwhile, Indian security agencies have come to know that Pakistan is undergoing a new trick to trap people, in which it is resorting to fake social media handles. Pakistan-based operators are using the popularity of Amitabh Bachchan's show Kaun Banega Crorepati to spread misinformation and trap people.

The Defense Ministry issued a security advisory saying that the cyber cell of the Defense Ministry has come to know that some fake social media accounts are being operated from Pakistan in the name of the TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati. These people send fake messages related to KBC, add people to WhatsApp group and trap them in their web.

In this advisory, it has been said that two Pakistan numbers have been detected, through which the WhatsApp group tries to trap people in the name of KBC. The cyber cell of the ministry has advised people not to join any such WhatsApp group and if someone is already present in such a group, then they should get out of the group immediately. Earlier, Pakistan has trapped many people on social media.
