New Delhi: The festival of Dussehra is the festival of the victory of good over evil and is celebrated as Ravana slaughter by Lord Rama. On this occasion, celebrities from all over the country also celebrate Dussehra in a special way. This time the Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will maintain the tradition of his arms worship. On October 8, Rajnath Singh will perform arms worship in France with the first Rafale fighter aircraft.
It is noteworthy that till Rajnath Singh was the Home Minister, he had done arms worship every year. Last year, Rajnath Singh along with BSF jawans had done arms worship in Bikaner. Rajnath Singh will be the first to fly a Rafale fighter jet in France. Indian Air Force Day is also on 8 October. On the same day, Rajnath Singh will receive Rafale aircraft at Merinac near Bordeaux. On 9 October, Rajnath Singh will arrive in Paris with High Air Force officers. During this time, Vice Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal HS Arora will also be present with him.
Rafale fighter jet has been changed according to Indian needs. These changes cost around 1 billion euros. Some Indian Air Force pilots have been trained to fly Rafale jets. After this, all these together will train 24 more pilots of the Airforce in three different parts in Indian Rafale fighter aircraft. Their training will run till 2020 May.
