Defence Ministry clears Indian Navy's deal to procure six submarines

New Delhi: The Defence Ministry on Friday took a major decision to increase the strength of the Indian Navy. The Ministry of Defence has given the green signal for construction of 6 submarines under Project 75-India. The project was stuck for a long time, which will now be completed. The 50,000 crore rupees project has been approved at a meeting led by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

The project has been entrusted to indigenous company Mazagon Docs Limited and L&T. For this project, these two companies will work with one foreign shipyard to submit information about the entire project and bid. The 50,000 crore rupees project has been approved at a meeting led by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The project has been handed over to indigenous company Mazagon Docs Ltd and L&T. For this project, these two companies will work with one foreign shipyard to submit information about the entire project and bid.
