Congress leader's nephew has been shot dead in Rudrapur Transit Camp Police Station area. After the murder, the wife of the deceased also attempted suicide by hanging herself. The police questioned the deceased's wife and a friend in custody, while the truth behind the murder was revealed. The police has revealed the case after nine hours.
His wife was the mastermind behind Sameer's murder. It is reported that Sameer has been murdered for having an illegal relationship. The wife along with her lover killed Sameer. The inquiry told that the incident was carried out by mixing intoxication in beer. The wife had also given 50 thousand rupees for killing Sameer. The police have arrested three accused, including the woman. The dead body has been sent for post-mortem.
Ward number-three Arvinder Nagar Transit Camp resident Arjun Vishwas is a Congress leader. On Friday night, his nephew Sameer Vishwas son Nitai Vishwas (25) was present in his house along with wife Shamli Devi, his friend Priyanka along with seven people. All were sleeping in different rooms and on the terrace. It is said that at around 2.30 am, a young man entered the house, where he shot a gun on the forehead of Sameer while sleeping. On hearing the noise, the accused absconded until the other person woke up. According to the family, the wife of the deceased also tried to commit suicide by placing a noose on the fan, which was saved.
