We all are aware that Hindi channel NDTV was going to get ban for one day but it has been put on hold by Information and Broadcasting Venkaiah Naidu.
The step has taken this taken after Supreme Court agreed to consider NDTV application. Yesterday NDTV officials met IB minister in which they explained that they have not shown any inside detail of January terror attack. After which the ministry has decided to put stay on the ban and reconsider the case.
Yesterday the Press club of India called the Government action “uncalled for censorship" at a time when "press freedom is already under increasing threat in the country."
