New Delhi [India], Jan 27 (NT):India and Cambodia today inked four agreements in the field of cultural exchange, an exchange line of credit of $26.9 million, memorandum of understanding to cooperate in legal matter and an agreement on prevention of human trafficking.

The documents were exchanged in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and visiting Cambodian PM Hun Sen following delegation-level talks between the two nations. New Delhi has agreed to establish a centre of IT excellence in Cambodia.

Prime Minister Modi underlined the historical ties between the two nations and assured that Indian remains committed to economic, social development, commerce, tourism and people to people contact with Cambodia.

Prime Minister also put emphasis on the important threads of the common heritage that link the two nations. Modi specifically mentioned that the restoration work of 20th-century temple being done with Indian assistance.

Prime Minister also highlighted the immense trade potential between the two countries as he assured that bilateral trade will move northward in times to come. Earlier in the day, the Cambodian premier was accorded ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the visiting Prime Minister as he arrived at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
